Quality Assurance

Ebco's quality system was first awarded a certificate of registration for ISO 9002 in August of 1997. During our renewal audit in August of 2000, we upgraded our program to comply with ISO 9001:2000 and QS 9000. In August of 2006 we were re-certified at both of our US facilities.

Our quality team strives to continuously improve the product we sell. Areas where problems have occurred are reviewed and permanent solutions are found. An example includes switching from Grade 2 hardware in cylindrical mounts to Grade 5 hardware to eliminate studs from breaking during installation. Detection of a poor product is difficult and switching the grade of material is the only way to prevent this problem from recurring again.

All of the products we sell undergo a thorough inspection to verify the part meets the print specifications. Copies of our inspection records are available to our customers upon request. We inform our customers and submit samples for approval before any change to a manufacturing process occurs. Our goal is to provide consistent products which meets our customers specifications all the time.

All of our products are packed in boxes labeled with quality lot number for traceability. This information enables us to track and isolate a problem if it does occur.
