With 50 years of industry experience Ebco has the expertise and the facilities to assist you. Our engineering team designs products and performs physical testing on existing and prototype products. We specialize in product design using ProE software, selection of manufacturing processes and testing to ensure that your product design and material properties meet the necessary requirements. We work closely with our clients’ engineering team to ensure a good understanding of the project.

Ebco has the capability to perform dynamic modeling analysis utilizing LMS software to select the proper vibration isolator and optimize the natural frequency of the system. Typical information required includes load of the isolated component, the disturbing frequency, and mounting configuration. In most cases, our engineering staff will select a mount style based on the customer’s requirements and constraints. These may include fail-safe installation, seismic requirements, stiffness-ratios, clearance, ease of installation. The computer simulation will optimize your rubber mounting system to proved the best isolation efficiency. This will save time and money in the physical testing process of the isolation system.

We perform FEA utilizing Pro/Mechanica to design and optimize our custom rubber products. By predicting the stress distribution on the model before prototypes are made we can reduce excess rubber and increase fatigue performance. We can also use this to predict isolator stiffness to be used in the dynamic modeling analysis.
