About Us

Ebco offers the highest quality and lowest cost rubber products on the market today. Since 1951, we have provided superior service to our customers and have assisted them in achieving their goals.

Ebco was founded in 1951 as a sales representative for various manufacturers including rubber toy tires. We operated out of a store front in Chicago by drop shipping products from the production facility direct to our customer.

Throughout the following 40 years Ebco made a name for itself in the Rubber and Plastic industry by providing quality products at a competitive price. We gradually began to concentrate on supplying industrial rubber and plastic products by expanding our product line to include boots and vibration/shock mounts.

In 1994, Ebco expanded into a warehouse in Elk Grove Village, IL. This enabled us to inspect the parts for quality, deliver products on time in the exact quantity requested, and perform secondary operations on the products if required. We were also able to provide additional value-added services, such as repacking products into returnable containers and bar coding shipments.

In the late 1990s Ebco began to pursue sourcing our products overseas. We have established strong partnerships with rubber sources in China, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. Though we continue to work with domestic suppliers, the majority of our production is from low cost countries due to our constant effort to drive costs down.

In 2006, Ebco expanded its distribution in both the United States and Europe to better serve our growing customer base. We now have distribution facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee and Galway, Ireland. The Galway facility provides services to the European market through Ebco Rubber ltd.

Ebco has been ISO9001:2000 certified since 2000. We are also classified as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) by the SBA as well as minority certified by the Chicago Minority Business Council.
